Experienced Litigator

A seasoned trial lawyer, for nearly 20 years Chris litigated cases in state and federal courts involving complex business matters--with particular emphasis on Oil & Gas disputes. Over his career, Chris represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, appeals, and mediations. He intimately knows the risks and rewards of litigation and especially values the certainty of resolving disputes through voluntary settlement at mediation.

Experienced Businessman

Chris left the law firm to join an independent, upstream Oil & Gas company. As Vice President of Land and a member of the Executive Team, he held joint responsibility for the successful evaluation, acquisition, development, and sale of approximately $1.5 billion in energy assets. He managed Land and Regulatory functions and employees and significantly participated in strategic business decisions. He understands how business complexities can both impact and benefit mediation.
